

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The primary role of the AV Technician is to perform all tasks given to by the AV Lead Technician including, but not limited to the installation of cabling, displays, speakers, and peripherals for AV systems
About the Role
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Ability to lead small projects
•Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
•Analyze and interpret system drawings
•Perform installation, adjustment, and operation of audiovisual equipment such as cameras, speakers, displays, projectors, and microphones
•Cable management above ceilings, under tables, and within racks
•Pull and terminate various types of cabling connections (CAT6, Crestron DM, Cresent, RS232, Speaker wire, mic wire, XLR connectors, phoenix connectors)
•Ability to solder
•Knowledge and ability to effectively and safely use basic tools

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
•Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including climbing, sitting, standing, walking, and driving
•When working on site, could be required to wear common protective and safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection and hard hats
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
•2+ years’ experience in collaboration or Audio-Visual Integration
•High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
POSSESS OR COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING WITHIN SIX MONTHS OF EMPLOYMENT:
•Dante Level 1
•Crestron Certified Technician
•QSC Level 1 Training
