Pixel Technologies is hiring a Business Development Manager


POSITION OVERVIEW:

The AV Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within an assigned geographic region. This role is focused on driving market expansion by generating new customer relationships, uncovering opportunities in new verticals, and working closely with the Sales and Design Engineering teams to deliver tailored AV/UC solutions that meet customer needs

About the Role

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Business Development & Growth

· Identify and target new customer opportunities within the assigned geographic territory.

· Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to penetrate new markets and verticals.

· Build strong relationships with prospective customers, industry influencers, and strategic partners.

· Create and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.

Collaboration & Solution Development

· Partner with the Sales and Design Engineering teams to scope customer needs and develop solutions.

· Support the creation and delivery of customer-facing presentations and proposals.

· Stay informed on AV and Unified Communications industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

Customer Engagement

· Conduct discovery meetings with prospective clients to understand business needs and challenges.

· Position Pixel Technologies as a trusted advisor through consultative selling.

· Transition new customers seamlessly to Sales Account Managers for ongoing relationship management.

Territory & Market Management

· Represent Pixel Technologies at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums.

· Provide regular reporting on pipeline development, forecasts, and market conditions.

· Collaborate with marketing teams to drive awareness campaigns in the territory.

· Travel as required for customer and business needs

· Proven ability to generate new business opportunities and establish executive-level relationships ( CIO, CTO, Facilities, Procurement)

· Strong networking and prospecting skills with a hunter mentality.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams.

· Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable managing a geographic territory

· Business writing skills.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:


· Office Environment – Collaboration with Sales and Engineering teams.

· Customer Sites – Frequent visits for prospect meetings, solution discussions, and presentations.

· Home Office – Flexibility for planning, reporting, and virtual networking.

· Travel – Regional travel is expected; occasional overnight travel may be required.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:


· 3-5+ years of sales experience in the Audio/Visual, Unified Communications, or related technology industry.

· Formal Education in sales or related fields
